Our founder, Hank, felt firsthand the problem with footwear: No athletic shoe was specifically designed for the sport of Pickleball, and his other shoes were not performing, getting worn out quickly and not giving him ample support. To address this, he dug into the science and design of athletic shoes. Along with a team of small business professionals and athletic shoe designers, all with a true love for the sport of pickleball, Winners Edge was born.
After years of designing and testing with pickleball players of all skill levels, including rigorous testing by 3.0 to 4.5 Pickleballers and Top Ranked Professional Players, Hank and the team launched The Ultimate Pickleball Shoe: the P-38 Lightning. Designed explicitly for pickleball and crafted with high quality materials, the P-38 is a hit with professional pickleball players and hobbyists alike.
